Use WHP Standing when an agent, API, MCP tool, approval record, or downstream system must verify that signed structured provenance survived COPY or COMPOSE without losing identity, qualifications, unknowns, authority, scope, jurisdiction, time, or permitted operation. One evaluation costs 1 native USDC on Base mainnet. A negative evaluation is still a paid result. Retrieval and recovery never charge again.

Verification of an existing Mark does not require another purchase. Payment funds an evaluation; it cannot purchase a Mark, truth or a favorable determination. A new evaluation requires independently admitted authority and owner-authorized payment. Standard x402 v2 exact EIP-3009 clients, including client-selected random nonces, are supported. No WHP-specific buyer authentication signature or client extension is required. No automatic forwarding or spending.
